EV CHARGING

tesla

The Wall Connector is the best charging option for Tesla vehicle owners, as it charges the vehicle an average of 35-40 miles of charge per hour. This is a great option for Tesla owners who would rather keep the charging cord inside their vehicle.

ClipperCreek, inc

Clippercreek stations are certified for both indoor and outdoor usage, and a 25-foot cable comes standard on all our products. Clippercreek EV charging stations are compatible with every plug-in vehicle.

JuiceBox Smart Charger

JuiceBoxes have smart timers to charge off peak and can work off spot price plans. Paladin maximizes the self consumption of generated solar power by heating your hot water and directing excess solar to other loads like spa pools and our JuiceBox EV chargers, rather than sell it cheaply back to the grid.

Chargepoint

ChargePoint brings electric vehicle (EV) charging to more people and places than ever before with the world’s largest and most open EV charging network. Chargepoint designs builds and supports all of the technology that powers this network, from charging station hardware to energy management software to a mobile app. Their work transforms transportation and energy use by helping more people choose to drive electric.

Siemens

Today, price, range, and charging time are the most important buying criteria for electric vehicles. For this reason, automobile manufacturers are launching long-distance battery-powered vehicles worldwide, which can recharge a range of 500 km in 10 to 15 minutes (Charging like refueling). In close cooperation with premium OEMs and charging infrastructure operators, Siemens puts the required high-performance charging infrastructure into daily practice.
Each EV is different. Most cars advertised as “long range” are somewhere close to a 200-mile range. Some EVs have extender kits available that increase to a 300-mile range. The exact range will vary depending on what type of driving you do, braking, acceleration, and additional systems associated with your vehicle like running the air conditioning.
Charge time will depend on your vehicle and the charge station you’re using. Let’s consider a CT4000, which is a 3 to 5-hour unit. Some units can take longer, while others offer a quicker charge time. ChargePoint stations can deliver as quick as a 15-minute charge! In order:

1. Level 1 = Home; 8 to 15 hours

2. Level 2 = Commercial (ChargePoint CT4000 is Level 2); 3 to 8 hours

3. Level 3 = DC Fast, quickest; less than 1 hour Level 3 is also known as Fast Commercial, DCFC, and Fast Charger Level 3 stations may require additional installation considerations and evaluation
Yes, the most common connector for a charger is the SAE J1772. It is the connector used to charge the most popular EVs, such as the Kia Soul EV, Nissan LEAF, Ford Focus EV, and many more. It is also the charger used by most Level 2 public charging stations. A ChargePoint CT4000 charging station uses an SAE J1772 connector.

What if I have a Tesla?

Yes, a ChargePoint charging station is still compatible, but you’ll need an adapter. Tesla vehicles use their own Tesla connector as standard.

There are a handful of other vehicles that use other adapters, like CCS.
